WHAT IS YOGA THERAPY?

Yoga Therapy combines the practice of traditional yoga with western medical and psychological concepts as a means of therapy for an individual to meet their specific health needs. The practice of Yoga Therapy addresses healing the whole person.

Yoga Therapy is often described as 'the intersection between yoga and phyiscal therapy.' It has proven to heal chronic conditions, as well as sub-acute injuries and issues.

Yoga Therapy has numerous benefits which include relieving stress; pain elimination; strengthening immune system; soothing the nervous system; improving concentration & focus; helping to establish positive thought patterns; improving relationship to Self and others, as well as overall health and wellbeing.
YOGA THERAPY
THERAPEUTIC FLOW YOGAInspired by the teachings of Sherry Brourman and Leslie Kazadi, Therapeutic Flow evolved because of a back injury and the healing that ensued through Yoga Therapeutic principles. Therapeutic Flow is a movement-based, breath-connected practice that addresses the structural alignment, integration and functional core stability needed by every human being. This challenging class will bring you to a deep body awareness that can free you of those annoying ‘tweaks’ and chronic aches & pains, as it facilitates excelled healing and restores balance. The class is fun, educational and open to all levels, including Pre-Natal.

THE CORE OF YOUR TRUTH
A Six Week Divine Spark Yoga Therapy Care Program
signature program
'Getting to the core of your truth'... This is the core of 'truth' in your body; with your breath; of your mindset; the wholeness that is YOU. This is about getting clear on what you need (physically, mentally, emotionally, energetically) and what action(s) must occur in order for you to step into those truths. If we have pain in the body; a recurring tweak or ache; an imbalance of hormones or recurring disruptions of sleep, it's important to take a deeper look at those specific areas and what may be the cause. And, it is also necessary for our attention to move even deeper... into the many parts of the whole of who we are... exploring what daily and weekly rituals we are engaging in that may service, or hinder, our greatest good.

My intention with this program is to help you find balance in your body, and ultimately, in your life. Balance includes becoming aware of; taking action and moving towards an integration that bring us back to a place of wholeness...

One breath at a time.
