Vision
Yoga is accessible for every body type; at any stage in one’s life; and any individual that is open to its infinite possibilities. The first step is to open up and breathe life in; allowing our natural healing capacity to have the space to perform its purpose. Our bodies are made up of intricate layers of intelligence. When given the correct tools, the body can begin to self-correct.
Philosphy
I believe that the practice helps us to peel back the layers of ourselves and reveal hidden truths. Some of those truths may have been hindering us along the way. “The first step to change is awareness.” Awareness is such a huge park of discovering the “Aha!” moments that make our yoga practice so rich. In regards to injury or pain, as the old layers begin to fall away, we can gain clarity to make a shift, empowered choices, creating needed change and begin the process of what I refer to as ‘reprogramming’ in the body; often a necessity to create space for healing.
